Our services include consultations, clinical assessments, treatment planning, general guidance, second-opinions, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, etc. We provide services for children, adolescents, and adults including individual, couples, and parenting sessions. Our healthcare professionals will help you discover which service is best for you based on your goals, needs, and other factors.

If you’re unsure if therapy is the right choice for you, we encourage you to schedule an initial consultation. This allows you to discuss your concerns, ask questions, and explore whether our services align with your needs and goals.

Yes, you have the option to express preferences for a specific therapist based on specialties or personal preferences. We do our best to match you with a professional who aligns with your needs based on what is discussed in a consultation.

Confidentiality is our top priority. Information shared during sessions is kept confidential within the bounds of legal and ethical standards.

Yes, we have the option to schedule virtual sessions for those who prefer or require it.

Yes, we offer counseling and therapy for individuals, couples, and families. At Child & Adult Psychological Services, we aim not only to strengthen and help the individual but to work on supporting their most important relationships too.

Dr. Zimmerman is available for consultations, clinical assessments, treatment planning, general guidance, second-opinions, and crisis intervention on a short-term (typically 1-3 session) basis.  For situations that require ongoing care an internal or external referral would be made. Additionally, all of our qualified professionals are under the direct and ongoing supervision of Dr. Zimmerman and regularly consult with him about cases.

Yes, we have clinicians on staff that can conduct their services in Yiddish or Hebrew for both children and adults.

In our practice sessions range from $200 – $750 per session depending on the clinician that you are seeing and the type of session you have.

We currently accept cash, check, or Zelle/Quickpay.

We are not in-network providers for any insurance plans. We also do not communicate with or take payments directly from insurance companies. However, for individuals who have out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with receipts that include all the necessary information to submit your claims so that you can get reimbursed by your insurance company.

Yes, we work well with many organizations that help subsidize therapy costs including Keren Ezer L’nefesh, Project Heal, Bikur Cholim, etc.

Yes, some of our clinicians see clients early in the morning, at night, or on weekends.
