Mr. Solly Mizrahi, LMSW

Solly Mizrahi, LMSW, is a Licensed Social Worker who  was trained at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and also completed the Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) courses for work with addictions. Recognizing the growing need for mental health intervention within the Sephardic-Syrian community in Israel, he spearheaded the launch of the Amudim Israel Sephardic division, providing clinical case management to families and gap year students. 

Additionally, he pioneered Darcheinu Israel’s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum for gap-year programs. Solly worked as a clinician in both the Jerusalem Therapy Center, a joint initiative of Amudim and Wurzweiler, as well as Merkaz Alma, a Jerusalem based government psychotherapy center for victims of sexual abuse within the Israeli charedipopulation. 

In addition to his clinical work, he is also a program coordinator for Amudim’s Darcheinu organization. Solly spent the majority of the last two decades living in Jerusalem together with his wife and children and recently moved back to his hometown of Brooklyn. Prior to his mental health training, Solly received semicha under the auspices of Rav Shmuel Pinhasi Shlita.

Mrs. Tova Piller, LMSW

Tova Piller is a Licensed Social Worker who was trained at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Tova is a warm, approachable, and non-judgmental individual who is deeply committed to her client’s well-being. 

Tova enjoys working with adults, teens, couples, and groups. Some of the modalities she employs include: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Grief work, and Somatic Experiencing therapy. 

In addition to her mental health experience, Tova has a previous degree in special education in which she used her skills of empathy and compassion to help teenage girls struggling academically, socially, and spiritually throughout their teenage years. In her personal life Tova is a mother of five children and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her family.

Mr. Ari Sorotzkin, LCSW

Ari Sorotzkin, LCSW is a graduate of NYU Silver School of Social Work. After beginning his career at Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center in Flatbush, Ari joined the practice in December 2012. 

Ari works with adolescents, adults, and couples. He treats a broad range of issues and symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. 

Ari has presented for Project SafeCamp and has lectured on a variety of topics. Additionally, he serves on the steering committee for the annual Agudah Yisroel Mental Health Conference. 

While Ari works primarily through a psychodynamic and attachment lens, he is extensively trained and incorporates a variety of modalities. These include EFCT, IFS, TFCBT, SI, and EMDR.

Mr. Chaim Tuchinsky, LMSW

Chaim Tuchinsky, LMSW received his social work degree from Long Island University and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. 

Chaim works through an attachment lens, incorporating a humanistic and growth oriented approach. He has received training and supervisions in various modalities, but is committed to using a unique approach to each individual client and their needs. 

Some of the modalities that might be incorporated are, Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family System (IFS), Sand Tray Therapy, and Play Therapy. Chaim strives to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, helping children, adolescents, and adults work through a variety of struggles, including anxiety, depression, abuse, acute and developmental trauma, OCD and marital issues.
